   Chief David Young is the 38th Chief of Police for the Williamsport Bureau of Police.  He is a retired Pennsylvania State Police Captain prior to his tenure with the city .  Chief Young was appointed Chief of Police in April 2016 by Mayor Gabe Campana.

   Captain Jody Miller was promoted to Captain in 2016. Prior to his time was captain he was a patrolman who worked his way up through the ranks to his current position.

   Captain Don Mayes was promoted to Captain in 2016. Prior to his time was captain he started as a patrolman in 1998 and worked his way up to Agent in 2009.
