WELCOME MESSAGE

The City of Williamsport is situated within the picturesque Susquehanna Valley, which is located in Lycoming County, in north central Pennsylvania. The City of Williamsport encompasses approximately nine square miles, and is home to approximatley thirty thousand year round residents, nine thousand college students and thousands of workers in our industrial park. The Williamsport Bureau of Police is currently staffed with fifty-one sworn officers and four civilian personnel.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Williamsport Bureau of Police is to ensure the safety and security of the community by providing exemplary law enforcement services.
